This Sunday, Pastor Bill will offer a sermon entitled “What’s on Your Mind?” based on Exodus and Matthew and a Children’s Message entitled “Don’t Worry” Music will be offered by the Chancel Choir.
In a world that focuses on negativity, we, as Christians, have an opportunity according to Paul in Philippians to practice what is excellent, admirable, true, holy, just, pure, lovely and worthy of praise. We must use reason, truth and love as our lenses for doing so. What are you paying attention to? What you pay attention to can change your outlook and provide perspective when it looks like the whole world is falling apart. Combining that with prayer and thanksgiving to our God leads to a more balanced outlook and to joy.
