Blessing of the Animals

This will be a fun community time to gather, appreciate our animal family members, and share the joy of creation. October 4 is the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, whose “Prayer for All Created Things” from the 12th century

will be shared.

While our focus is on our animals this day, we also want to care for those who care for our animals. Donations will be gathered to benefit Woodbury’s Animal Control department. The people who do this vital work appreciate having more resources to provide veterinary care, food, and other necessities. The entire amount donated will be given to Woodbury Animal Control.
