FEBRUARY 1 EPIPHANY IV

We will celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper in a briefer worship designed to integrate with our Annual Meeting (see below). The sermon “Sanctuary” will focus on where and how we encounter God, based on Psalm 15, Micah 6:1-8 and Matthew 5:1-12. We will receive Woodbury Food Bank donations and an opportunity to give to the pastor’s discretionary fund will be offered. Our liturgist and communion assistant will be Sarah Schivera. Our Black History Month presenter will be Sam Temple speaking about Mary McLeod Bethune.

Immediately after worship we move to Fellowship Hall for a light luncheon and Annual Meeting, celebrating the ministries of 2025 and looking ahead with confidence to 2026. The event will end promptly at 1 p.m., so we ask our people to make this commitment to a time of inspiration, information and integration of worship with our wider ministry.
