On Sunday, March 1, the appointment of Woodbury UMC's next pastor was announced. William Florin has been appointed by Bishop Thomas J. Bickerton to Woodbury United Methodist Church. WUMC's Staff Parish Committee (SPRC) has met with Pastor Bill who is currently serving at First United Methodist Church, Shelton. He presently works as pastor half-time and also as a corporate trainer. Pastor Bill will be transitioning to a full-time appointment here in Woodbury effective July 1, 2026.
