A wonderful worship attendance of 53 praised God and celebrated holy communion last Sunday. Both the Chancel and Bell choirs offered music designed to inspire us to be “in” the sanctuary, as well as to be a sanctuary, as did the sermon by the same title.
After worship, approximately 35 to 40 people stayed for our annual meeting which chronicled the accomplishments of the year past and look forward with confidence to what we can do in ministry in 2026. If you were not able to be with us and want a copy of the annual report, copies are available on the document table in the Foyer.
That morning’s worship offered music by both our Bell and Chancel Choirs as we celebrated the Lord’s Supper. Sam Temple offered a Black History Moment on Mary McLeod Bethune and my sermon, “Sanctuary,” reflected on both physical and spiritual expressions of that concept.
